Help wanted...

    I have a large weed/plant growing underneath a cherry tree, it is approx 6ft tall with a double leaf arrangment growing up the stem. The two leaves grow as one with the stem poking through the middle. they are long and narrow (approx 10inches long), incline upwards and create a bowl at the center. they also have very sharp thornes/spines on the underside. The stem is also very spiny and there are flowers starting to appear at the top that look a little like a thistle, any info would be greatly appreciated.
