    Hi all gardening enthusiasts, trying to solve a crossword in a gardening magazine and the two answers are driving me mad :scratch:

    Both answers have a connection with "SPRING"

    1. S - O - F - A - E

    2. B - A - T -

    Of course now Ive put this on here I shall solve it !!

      I had just come up with "bracts" but dont see that has anything to do with spring ??

      think beauty is the better option :)
