help with grape vine

    Hello i am new on here and wondered if anybody could help
    . I was in a derelict house garden with a huge vine and broke a large branch off. How do i start it growing its about ten foot long. ?????????????????????????????????

    Do you mean you want to root the bit you broke off or make sure the exisiting plant is OK?

    Good evening Nina and welcome to the site.:dbgrtmb: What you need to do is. Cut the stem into section, you do this by cutting about 3 inches either side of a leaf node ( joint ) leaving the leaf in place. Take as many of these cuttings as you like and plant them somewhere where they can be left to themselves for a while. You plant them so as the cut stem is just underground and the leaf is above ground.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
