    Hello folks,
I am such a new gardener that I would call myself someone who accidentally owns a garden, but wants to learn how to keep it, rather than even an apprentice gardener like it says in my postbit <-!
So we have this beautiful magnolia tree, and I would like to know how and when to prune it because it's growing too wide and too tall.
Photo I just took from the bedroom window. As you can see it's as tall as the second story.

And is it possible to take cuttings to make new magnolia trees? We have a paddock and would like to create several new trees round the perimeter. If it's possible, how do we do it successfully please?
    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to GC Spinball.

Sorry, I know absolutely nothing about Magnolia's but I'm sure other members will be along soon to help you out. :)
