Bought a lovely new plant about 18 months ago. Had problems with yellowing of leaves. Fed - re potted about 6 months ago.
It has crazy growing spurts where there are lots of new bits of growth then it stops and many of the new leaves/ nodules turn yellow and drop off.
Don't think I'm over watering as I let it dry out inbetween.

Some good healthy leaves always remain then it starts over again.

    Any thoughts?

Mine has crazy growth spurts, I just wind them round a circular wire frame. Occasionally I undo the whole lot and rearrange them more tidily. However, the leaves don't go yellow.

I seem to remember something about them not liking draughts or might have been dry atmosphere - something to do with being moved. Whenever mine is in flower I bring it from the greenhouse into the house and it immediately starts to look miserable!

Do you use lime free water when watering?

stephanotis doesn't seem to like the dry air in heated rooms, had the same problem, put it in less heated room and problem disappeared
tricky is to find a less heated room which is not too cold, though
the other way is to do sth to increase the humidity in the air, but occasional spraying is useless, you need sth more permanent
