    Hello all,

My family & I have just moved house & I stumbled across this site when googling for ways to safely demolish the shed/garage the previous tenant so kindly left in a bad way (along with the horrific mess of the garden)!

Looking forward to chatting & gaining lots of tips & ideas for making what is currently a jungle into a nice garden my daughter can enjoy.

    Cheers!

Hopefully once we are settled & have a few quid to afford to - the old guy next door is really nice & his garden/shed is a perfect example of how our garden should look!

The part I found really funny about our place is apparently the previous owner worked for B&Q Garden Centre!
Maybe they didn't want to take their work home with them? ;)

The shed is also still full of stuff which bugs me a tad, more because that roof simply isn't safe.

You've certainly got a blank slate there! (Apart from the shed!)

The good news is, once you've demolished the shed looks like you'll double the size of the garden.

Presumably the shed is on slabs so if they are tidy you can use that as a patio in the short term.

The wall looking down over -something? The town?- is an asset in my view, you could leave those scrubby trees in place if you don't want to see the view or clear them a bit if you do want to see it. Adds character, anyway.

First job will be to cut the grass (March) and get all the fences repaired and looking tidy. Also weed the slabbed areas.

I don't know how radical you want to be with changing the layout. You don't seem to have anything growing except grass and the washing line so if you do want to completely replan it you might as well do it this spring and then plant it up after.

Let us know what you might have in mind.
