Hi from Yorkshire

    Hi there folks. I'm a reluctant gardener from Leeds who bought a house which happened to have 1.5 acres attached to it: the bad news is that half of this was 6ft high with brambles and nettles!

    After two years of strimmers, chain-saws and a machete we've got 3/4 of that under control so are now trying to keep it that way. Next step is to replace lots of black plastic sheeting with some actual plants :)
