Just joined the site, I’ve bought a house with a big garden with a lot of plants and I don’t know what I have, so would be nice to use all your knowledge to find out what I have.

hope to speak with a lot of you very soon!
    Regards,

      Welcome to GC,
personaly, I would wait another month or two before you do anything, that way, it gives you a chance to see whats already there, who knows, the garden may be perfect for you, or only need minor changes. Its a story I have come across before, people move in after xmas, get the landscaper in, spend shed loads of cash on plants, only to find out from a neighbor, that a fair chunk of what they put in, was there before they started.
Look forward to chatting later on.

        Hi @Glen Parker

        :sign0016:

        Welcome to Gardeners Corner :(

You're garden looks gorgeous. I would definitely wait for this year and see what surfaces, there are plants/flowers that won't do anything until the Autumn so I wouldn't do anything drastic until then.
Some things you may like..... keep t8, others you may not..... dig them out.

Have fun and good luck :)

        Welcome to GC!

What would I do in your position? Walk around the garden, taking as many photos as you can, both of “areas” of the garden, and individual plants that catch your eye. Any flowering trees, and shrubs, so you can get some idea of flowering times, etc. Then every month or two, repeat the process.

Do this for a year, so that you know what there is, and what it does, through the year.

We will be here to help with any identification problems!!
