    Seriously, it does not look like mint to me, I think it should have serated leaves unlike the one in your photo, I'd get her to rub the leaves to see if there is a minty smell.

    Hiya Dee hows things?

    I really have to identify this bloody plant she reckons its mint but it has thse flowers? Its a slide show so maybe you can take a peek! I dont want her feeing it to her Rabbit cos she will blame me if it ends up in the pot :rofl:

    pmsl well i shall tell her its not mint and its not for her rabbit its difficult cos she lives up the other end of the country and ive never seen her garden!

    Our mint is looking very sorry for itself at this time of year anyway, it more or less dies away in the cold/frosts - so I'm certain that isn't mint - not sure what it is though.

    Ive had another look and the leaves look more like a Fuschia to me!!!
    Wilson's gorgeous Paula, is he behaving himself?

    It looks very much like marjoram to me. Actually, it looked very much like marjoram to Mrs shiney :hehe: - I didn't have a clue :lollol:

    It looks a bit like marjoram/origanum to me too. Not all mints smell like mint-lemon balm for instance smells like lemon pledge and thaty`s a mint I think.

    The marjoram will taste very strong and if you rub the leaves you should get a very subtle almost sage like scent.

    I have what looks like the exact same plant and it`s marjoram. Little pale purple flowers.
