Hi, landimad is still here

Hi all, (been 7 years since my last confession)

I am still about, and trying to do gardening. Have been very busy with a spine operation and changing my job a doer to a trainer. I have built several projects and had to ease up due to a thing most peeps don't want, a broken spine, oh wait I said that.
Tend to build boxes out of 4 x 2 and deep beds out of railway sleepers.
Poor old garden has taken a hit at the moment due to lack of energy and being told by the doctors no digging.
Daughter No.2 has been bitten by the garden bug and grandson wants Strawberries nothing else.
I shall be in and out as lots of training to get completed with new and retired people needing the correct information and advise in these turbulent times.

Hiya @landimad welcome back. Your spine injury sounds very painful, so I hope you get some respite from it.

Thanks Sheal, Been busy with sorting out new way of working due to these strange times. Have to keep social distancing, Masked up and shield, all when communication is paramount in the job I train people for. Having to keep away from individuals when they need a helping hand with operating equipment and knowing where and when they went wrong in any given command.
Seems that the bosses would have us all doing things by the book, which means get it done and not worried how. We have to ensure that all people have been vetted and completed all exams before they are let loose on the general public.

I agree landimad. Things are going to be a lot different when we emerge from this lockdown, and not just in business.

 

Allotmenteers, and Back gardeners will be ok as it tends to be a solitary thing until harvesting. :spring:
