Osmanthus Burkwoodii For me, one of the best evergreen heavily scented Spring flowering shrubs that will make you breathe in deeply and sigh with a smile.:snorky:

And for a spectacular show and elegance, it's got to be the evergreen shrub Garrya James Roof.

Don't you wish you could bottle the scent or save it onto a CD or something...

I'd have to say a Fuchsia. What other shrub looks so beautiful and can offer you tasty fruit. And, not just one flush like Apples, Pears etc but all Summer and Autumn long :)

Well I know they're quite a common shrub (or tree) but I do love my Cotoneaster. It doesn't half earn it's keep. It has loads of flowers on it when in bloom and the bees are then all over it. Then it's full of berries and the leaves on it go a lovely reddish colour in autumn before they drop. It even grew well for me in a massive pot in a shady part of the garden at my last home. Now I've got a bigger garden and more space I'm going to transfer it into a border. :)
