      @Jenny namaste I prefer to call it Jolly Jelly :whistle:
      @noisette Cannabinoidal Oil.

      It is legal here and I make my own. This is the type that doesn't get you high, just takes away aches and pains and I usually only have one when I'm starting to feel achy. I also make my own oil. That too is legal. I don't eat and drive because I worry that maybe some THC might sneak into it. :heehee: I add it to my Christmas cake too. Fun Fruitcake..

      Now, back to chutney. What is a courgette? I don't think we have those over here.

          Well, my chocolate fudge might be a little different :whistle:

          The new provincial regulations allow 4 plants at your own property. If you rent or share, you must get permission from the landlord or roommate etc. I have permission from Health Canada to grow more plants than that and have had this registration for 4 years now and before it became legal for everybody.

            @Marley Farley you are quite correct. I sent some of my oil along with a friend from out of province to try with her 5 year old Dalmation. It is experiencing nasty arthritis. Hope it works :fingers crossed:

              Pretty sure they are just marrows picked when still small, but probably specially selected/bred varieties.

                      Although it is fairly new to most, CBD oil has been around a long time. People joke about it like it is something only hippies or nutters use and I guess that is why legislation to legalize it is so hard to accomplish. I know people who have had chronic pain issues and were taking prescription Oxycodone :yikes: to get relief and now they take a capsule of CBD oil and no longer have that other addictive medicine in their systems. I just prefer to wrap mine in something sweet because I am a sugar fiend :) And it is carefully locked away so the grandkids aren't able to access it.

                      I'm going to keep track of this thread so I can use the recipes aforementioned - thank you :)

                        WE can only buy a 5% strength oil from Holland and Barratts on the high street. Any idea what strength you are getting from your GYO oil?

                        My own oil - I have no idea what the strength is because I don't have a laboratory and quality control is missing.. I do believe that mine is stronger.

                        The CBD oil I purchase is usually 11% or better. And now I get a seniors discount!

                        I experimented with a little, then slowly increased the amount until I felt it was effective. Still not huge amounts - about 1 mg per dose. :)

                        Oil is oil so any food that already has some fat in it is good to incorporate the CBD. Things like fudge, Christmas cake, muffins, breads, gravies, meat sauces such as spaghetti, etc. I prefer to just make stuff that I can easily divide into "doses" and that is the reason for the candies.

                        If I was doing it for a pet, yes, just a drop of oil straight up is okay but I believe I still have a recipe for pumpkin dog biscuits that go over well with furry friends and I would use that. After all if the pet is suffering, relief and a little treat are a good idea :)
