Hi, I'm completely new to this.. so bear with me.
I've been searching the internet for seeds to grow Anthemis Tinctoria E.C. Buxton - but can only find plants.

I would rather just get the seeds and grow my own!
Does anyone know where I can find them.

    Thanks

    Thanks Marley for the link.

The thing is they are 'Kelwayi' and I specifically want 'E.C. Buxton'. I don't really want to pay for plants if they can be grown from seed. (I like a challenge!)
Should I post something a different part of the forum to see if someone has seeds I could have?

Still figuring out how one posts/replies etc!!

 Those are the only one I can find Bessie, otherwise it is all plants, although I did come across an article where they took cuttings from starter plants & kept them in greenhouse, (potting the cuttings on) as a sort of mother plant ..
Plus another where she bought the plants originally, as like you she couldn't find seed, then collected her own seed from those plants....! Not sure how viable these are as alternatives for you... So you want the mainly white petal tinged yellow at centre only, yes..?

    It's a bit of tale...

but a garden near my house has had these gorgeous perennial daisies every year for years - quite pale yellow petals with a darker yellow centre, and delicately cut leaves. (The people who lived there for years moved out so I can't ask them what it is!)

Through searching books/internet I decided it had to be E C Buxton (I can't find anything similar that's a perennial).

I may have to bite the bullet and order the plant online (nurseries that I go to don't seem to stock it.) It's the pale buttery yellow petals that are so attractive!

As it is a cultivar , it might not come true from seed!

They are easy from cuttings, see it as a diferent challenge.
