Much to my builders' horror I got them to save a very pretty petite variegated Ivy which was growing up the side of the garage. The walls of the garage have now been sorted and most of my Ivy is still intact but lying on the ground as I had to carefully "peel" it off the wall. The Ivy is about 12 years old and still only maybe 3ft high so not a thug at all. Any suggestions as to how I can get it to stick back on the wall? My only thought was Bluetack but didn't know how that would fair when we get frost. Hope someone can come up with a good idea. I really don't want to have to put up any kind of climbing framework unless I have to as once reattached then it wouldn't be necessary. Thanks.

If you can prop it against the wall it should just reattach itself assuming its a clingy sort. Just lean a plank or something against it and it should grow into position.
Other option is to chop it and just let it do it's thing...

Stick it back with "Tec7" or "Pink Grip". Supposedly weatherproof.

Pink grip is definitely weatherproof - a few wee blobs of that should do the trick, just be aware that it's pinky/red even when dry

Thanks all, off to see if my local Screwfix has the necessary. Will use a few planks as well to prop some of it as not sure husband wants his garage covered in pink blobs tho:)!

You can get Tec7 in any colour including (I think) green.

Who'd have thought I could get the information I needed within minutes and a colour choice too!!! Ivy now upright with clear Tec7 and a couple of planks for good measure. Agree with Jenny, you lot on GC always come up trumps when I'm needing some good and practical advise.
