    Hello all

I hope you are all well.

I have a Replacement Shrub (Acer Negundo Flamingo) being Delivered Today which should not have been Dispatched for awhile yet.

It is obviously too Hot to Plant it out at the moment, so, how do I keep it healthy in its Pot until the Weather Cools Down, hopefully Next Week?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

Just put it in a shady spot and keep it watered.

      Hello @pete

      Thanks for the reply.

I have sat the Pot in a Large Bucket and filled the Bucket with Water so the Plant can get a good Drink.

It is looking better than it did when I took it out of the Box so that is a good sign.

I will keep an eye on it in the coming Days until I can get it Planted.

Do you think it would work if I stood in a Bucket of Cold Water to stop me Wilting :noidea:

      Thanks

      Kevin

Very warm out isn't it! Could also heel it in the ground in the shade if you have a spot?

          Hello @Loofah

          Thanks for the Reply.

It is currently 30 Degrees here, unbearable, for the Plants, and, Me :wallbanging:

I have put the Pot at the Back Garden side of the Side Gate which is mostly in Shade.

I will keep an eye on it and Water as needed.

We should have Rain Tonight and Tomorrow then it is Forecast to get Cooler Next Week with Light Rain :)

          Thanks

          Kevin
