When I got my new whizzy computer, my HP Pulsar 600, 20gb hard drive, pentium 111, internal modem was going to my neice, as it still functions but she is now unable to collect so I thought "computer aid" who will pick it up, but need it placed in a box for the courier company to pick up which I don't have. Where could I get a box sufficent to take a pc tower and monitor, let alone the rest of the peripheries.

As I need to lose it before the decorators come in time is short - so ideas please on how to package this up.

Of course if anyone wants a fourish year old pc with all the bits for free, and can get an OS installed (the disc has been formated prior to ditching) then let me know. The OS was 98 second edition but gone with the formating.

    Fran,

Depending on what size the tower is, have you thought of a 'Banana' box from a local supermarket, they are usually very strong (I have used them to store loads of rubbish in my loft :D ).

Failing that, have you tried a local 'PC World', when they get their Demo models out, they must either dispose the boxes (most likely), or store them.

    Nathan.

Lady of Leissure - a little old village outside Milton Keynes on the Beds/Bucks border.

Nathan - thanks for that - I'll give it a whirl, otherwise it down the tidy tip cos the decorators are due in and I ain't got the space to hold it.
