I have one cane/whip of a loganberry plant that is absolutely huge - easily 12ft long, which I have currently placed on top of a lavatera just to keep it off the ground.

I am wondering if I should make some sort of frame from canes and then zig-zag the loganberry up it?

It will need support FC, better to keep it within picking height.

Thanks John - my thinking was to put two canes made into an apex at either side, then run twine between each of the triangles and zig-zag the loganberry whip back and forth from side to side, tying it in as I went. I could also tie in the other canes that have taken from the original plant?

I need to do similar with my raspberries too.
