@Verdun, I am pleased about that because I originate from the black country and we talk broad, you seem to type that way also.

Oh she loves it down there, never been myself to know...yes the winds to bad to walk about it, it's enough to take you over.:frown:

I've just looked the Paniculata Limelight up and never seen any of those before, they remind me of cone shapes and the delphiniums my hubby likes those and the canna Tropicana Black are nice and he wanted me to get some put then i'd need to take out other plants to add them, when I want flowers I only go to one main nursery as the variety of plants is over whelming.:)

Not sure I write "broad" Gail.....a cornishman with an aussie twang though :)
The beauty of Limelight....all the paniculata type....is twofold. One it can be pruned hard back and still flower profusely in the same season. Also the long flowering season from June to October. If you can accommodate it I think you will be pleased with it. I did post some pictures of it, and the associated planting, last summer. May try to retrieve them :)

                    Hi Verdun,
I'd love to see your pic's of your plants, mine get pruned back as soon as the leafs fall off, as they come back stronger the following year.:)

I've tried not to type how I speak but find it hard :heehee:

Gail, no problem at all. Just be yourself on the forum :).
Who cares how people speak anyway? I am a cornishman but now and then I am told to sound more cornish??? However, a neighbour of mine, cornish through and through, has such a strong dialect that I often have to guess what he says:noidea:
Yep, will try to retrieve a couple of pics:)
