So i have just got home and the most i have done in the garden today is sit outside and ensure i have got my vit D dosage

While sitting on the back step i watched two small birds (I think they were tits but were too far away to tell and moved too quick) flying and landing on my crochet trellises and hoping between them and eating insects out of them.

I am so chuffed that my crochet trellises are benefiting the birds as i dont put food out because my cats are hunters and I want birds to live not die. I had noticed a lot of spiders make my trellises home and lots of other insects. its mainly the spiders who dont make webs that live in the trellises so they must provide a good hunting ground for them

I have noticed a few times little birds landing on them and flying off but its never been clearer that they were feeding on insects living in the trellises.

it was wonderful to watch and such a nice surpise :-)

      How wonderful!
You'll have to keep a camera beside you now you know there are birds feasting on the insects in your crochet trellises :)

I do really need to M. Unfortunately its nearly always when i look out my bedroom window and my phone wont pick them up from the distance from the bedroom or for the back step which is frustrating and my slr only has the standard lens and a fisheye one so again no good i need a telescopic (i think thats right) lens
