    Yo!
Is it possible to find a small pretty tree (are they called ornamental? ) that will grow in a pot?
I need one that will grow in a back yard. A summer flowering one would be good, but spring is ok too.
Will it have any affect on my lawn? Apart from dropped leaves/petals. I don't want anything sprouting up in my lawn :)
    Any suggestions? :) Cheers.

Some of the smaller Magnolias are suitable for pot growing, varieties such as stellata and Susan are ideal.

There will be some varieties of ornamental Cherry too if you find a decent stockist. Also look at some of the flowering varieties of Cornus, some Crab Apples and Amelanchier

Or what about a Ceonothus? (Evergreen Californian Lilac)

As far as I know they're just blue, but you can get different shades.

      What colour did you want?

      Pink/Red? Leptospermum

      Yellow? Mimosa

There are different things to take into consideration here. Do you want it to be evergreen? Do you mind if it takes a bit of your time and money in it's care? Do you want fruit as well as flower? The correct compost and feeds will be needed etc.

Hmmm, I think I handle the care side. Evergreen would be a preference. That Ceonothus looks perfect in its form. Just not keen on the blue.
No fruit please :) I have an Asda nearby :)

Yeah, that looks good, and the magnolia stellata is slamming, I love it :)
Do you know it's height and spread over say 10/20 years Eve? (the korean).
