    Hi all,

This has been in the garden since I moved it, but had always looked a bit sad and straggly. I moved it at the end of last year, and now it has obviously found its happy place! It is growing like mad and has white flowers for the first time! Trouble is, I don't know what it is. It is deciduous, has small white flowers, a bit like hawthorn, and quite a light, delicate fragrance.

    Anyone any ideas?

Hi WOO, I have a couple of spireas in the garden, but it doesn't look like any of them? The leaves are quite rounded, but as I say, this is the first year it has ever done anything! :D

    Hi David,

Thanks for the input - that looks a lot more like it from some Google images searching, but the only thing is that on those pictures the flowers seem a lot bigger than mine appear to be. Do you think it because it is the first year it has flowered for a while?

    Cheers,

    Dave

Dave, the flowers on Exochorda are only small. I`m going to a garden tomorrow where there are 2 and will try and take a photo for comparison.:thumb:
