Hi found this in my next door neighbours garden, all I can tell you about it, it was growing in a damp area, its the type of thing ive been looking for, hopefully it will grow round my pound and act as ground cover.

My first thought was some kind of sedum, but I'm not so sure now you say it was growing in a damp area :dunno:

Pretty thing though, glad it found its way to sitting between your large pebbles ;)

I'm sorry, I don't know what it is, but I have a clump of it growing in a soggy container in my garden. It has spread well, and is a dense clump, so it should work well to cover your lovely pond edges.

Am I seeing two plants there?
One some kind of rosette forming plant and moss.

Yes rosettes in amongst the moss I think @pete . I am thinking it is either one of the Saxifraga family or maybe Sedum - Stoloniferum perhaps..

Pretty sure that is a sedum with the moss - maybe hispanicum?? It appears to be struggling a bit, and most sedums are drought tolerant. Maybe it could be shifted to a drier place.
Some variety of mimulus would appreciate a nice boggy situation .
There are lots of different sedums, and they make superb ground cover. :)

              Thank you all :)

It wasn't struggling where i picked it from Tetters, I'd only just been placed it in my garden when the pictures was taken, do you have any examples of sedums to look for please do any types flower ?,

I've placed it on the pebbles in hope it will grow over the black waterfall, its only a small area but i want a few more plants in here and more ground covering plants, I will bonsai the plants to keep it looking nice,
