Id Toad please

Any one know what toad this is please

Seen walking across lawn tonight

 

Common Toad, the only one you are likely to see.

 

The common toad is pretty uncommon around here.

 

It's not very common anywhere now.

 

I've not seen a toad in at least a good 4yrs...since one was by our door step and the dog clocked it and kept nudging it

Jiffy it looks like they've took up a permanent residence in your area mate

 

We've always had Toads and Frogs, but this one was out in the day time and walking across the lawn, i did think it was a natterjack but no yellow stripe down it's back

 

I've seen them in the past at any hour but I am surprised like you they mainly take cover during the day but you took good snaps mate
