    Hi All,

I am hoping for some advice in how to best layout my garden. It is a blank canvas to work with, as when we moved in there were no plants already in the garden. We live in Kent, with an eastwardly facing garden.

I have drawn a sketch in paint :heehee: as I could not find my camera. My main problem is my lack on knowledge :cry3:especially regarding the positioning of the different the variety of plants. I have attached it to help talk me through if possible :D (I will post a photo ASAP!)

I have been looking at diffent plants/ flowers that I might like to have in my garden (which is probably the wrong way to do it, I should probably pick based on soil type etc and not prettiness lol) and have come up with the following: ... Jasmine, Palms, Lilly, Fuschia, Oleander, Daisy, Dahlia, Clematis, Magnolia Tree :rolleyespink:

I planted some Dahlia's, Lillies and Daisy's last year which were really successful and I really enjoyed the garden being so colourful! :D

With some of the plants I was thinking of planting in containers if possible, as I would not wish to leave them behind if/when we move... altough if you think they would do better in the ground any advice will be greatly welcomed!!

    Thank you, Nicola .x.
