**edited to add ideas as they come in!

As some of you may remember, I have restarted drawing in the last few years, after many years absence.

It was the Inktober initiative that got me drawing again, where you do a different drawing each day, from a given prompt. October is fast approaching, I have the prompt list, but I’m struggling for ideas and inspiration.

    Here’s the official prompt list:
    426A6750-0D20-4E0F-9815-8A0975B34CA7.jpeg

....and here are my ideas so far (bold where I have a reference photo)

    1 ring- chain ring/tree rings/ring-tailed lemur/fungi fairy ring
    2 mindless - vandalism?
    3 Bait - cheese?/chocolate
    4 Freeze- frost pattern
    5 Build - Lego bricks
    6 husky- dog...
7 enchanted - cottage in forest clearing?
    8 frail - a leggy seedling
    9 swing - child’s tree swing/gibbon/pair of dancers
    10 pattern- zebra
    11 snow- Snowscape
    12 dragon- dragonfly
    13 ash - tree?
    14 overgrown - brambles ?
15 legend - writing/ script/mountain capped with snow (legend of Glass Mountain)
    16 wild- horse
17 ornament - simple piece of crockery
18 misfit - odd one out in a group
    19 sling - catapult
    20 tread - step/footprint
    21 treasure - treasure map
    22 ghost- shadow, Weimaraner
23 ancient- castle ruins, Irish school ruins
    24 dizzy- Izzy, spinning?
    25 tasty - cake?
26 dark - night sky with stars & moon/ or even the moon?
    27 coat- cover?
28 ride - straight forest path?
    29 injured - bird/broken branch
    30 catch - fish
    31 ripe- blackberry

    Can you help with ideas?!
Would you like to join me in the challenge?!

I like the idea of Enchanted ... a spooky eerie forest, perhaps with a cottage ... or fairies. You do such wonderful detail Sian.

Or a tree's rings from a slice/cheese cut from a tree? I'll never find in time the images I took of cuts through a really old storm felled apple tree that showed all sorts of patterns, including one that looked like a face.

Oh, there’s an idea! And as I was looking through Pixabay for photos on tree rings, a ring-tailed lemur photo popped up! I’m spoiled for choice for the 1st Oct now!!

I've tried to pick out some of those you need ideas for. :)

            1. It's that time of year....a fairy ring of toadstools.
            5. Lego bricks.
            8. A leggy seedling.
            9. A child's garden swing.
            17. A simple piece of crockery.
            18. Something that may be the odd one out in a group.
            19. Catapult.
            20. Footprint.
            21. Coins.
            26. Night sky with stars/moon.
