    A friend has asked me what the flower in the photo is.
    It reminds me of Oxalis articulata but it doesn't seem to have leaves.
    Any information gratefully received :smile:

    Pink sorrel in the oxalis family. Seems early and strange there are no leaves, they pop up from rhizomes maybe the leaves come later.

      Thank you ... Yes it's strange there are no leaves.
      I have flowers on mine now but there are lots of leaves, in fact they've been leafy all winter.

        Definitely looks like oxalis - I have o. pocockiana and it also has leaves when in flower. Could they be under what seems to be a layer of dead tree leaves in the picture, struggling to emerge?
