Your right it does look a bit nasty.
but as long as you dont feel anything its probably looks worse than it feels.

Would imagine it could be pretty sore afterwards, but eyes do seem to heal themselves pretty fast.
But then, what do i know?????

Hope it goes well for you though.

                  I hate dentists.
Giving birth isn't all it's cracked up to be either!

So, one thing I've done during those times is to totally distract my mind from what is happening by focussing on something completely different.

For me, it is numbers  :heehee: So, I focus on numbers/number games - initially with a huge focus on the letters NUMB.

If there is something you can mentally visualise easily, then I suggest you focus on that while the procedure is taking place. It has to be worlds apart from what you are experiencing, but, it can be a huge blessing ;)

No they just creep up behind you with a big mallet.
After the first blow you feel nothing, until you wake up.
The pounding headache then takes your mind of the problem with your eye.

I'd never heard of it either so I did google (video) search it. Once I'd got through the first 20 seconds (needles freak the living shino out of me) it looked cool - no biggie from what I saw. You'll be fine and after a day or three the discomfort will be gone :yay:
