Hya folks Im new here and enjoying viewing all the ace gardens by members.
Im originally from Bury in Lancs but have lived in Cornwall for 11 years now.
Iv always loved pottering about in the garden but most of the garden has been taken up by bird aviaries for 25+ years..
Im no longer in the bird keeping hobby, been out of it for about 4 years now and looking forward to having a proper garden haha.

The house we live in is roughly 9 years old and has been a real back breaker in trying to make something of it, as its all land fill from when the house was built with house bricks and poor soil.
Im currently working on the side of the house on a small plot that Im looking to transform into a rockery.
This is in full sun most of the day and the work on it to date has been getting rid of the rubble and bricks etc. about 6" down in the soil.
Iv started riddling the soil, adding peat free compost, chicken manure pellets, bird grit I had and oyster shell.
Ill be looking to start designing the plot in the near future, but for now Im just trying to get some goodness in the soil.

If I can help at all with my limited knowledge of plants and gardening I sure will, will definitely have plenty of questions in due course hahaha.
