    Hi im new .Hello to all.

    Please can you help?

    I have a privet hedge which seems to by dying off
    The only thing I havn had near it is Provado Vine Weevil Killer 2. Is this stuff at all possible to kill Privet?

    Im a new gardener(a very usless one at the moment) But am trying!! :eek:

    I don't think that would kill it Nat, in fact not much at all kills privet but if you clipped it late last year then they do tend to look a bit poor after winter weather on them, I should wait until spring and see if it starts shooting again

    there os a virus which has killed privet locally, but more likeley s is dormant

    My Privet hedges also look a bit dead. Although it's a sort of evergreen Privet does loose more leaves some years than others but new growth will soon appear as is evident in parts of my hedge.
