    "You may not know that when you perform a search on Google, the site search logs keep a record of your computer IP address, cookie ID and the search query terms. Google may also track your clicks on the search results by rewriting the destination URL. So we will look at possible ways to manipulate each of this information:

    Jjordie - thank you. Very interesting. Its rather scarry how the internet is just like an open door to your house. I was reading today that the chip'n'pin system of credit cards has reduced card fraud a lot, and consequently has made the fraudsters move to the internet where there are richer pickings It is also scarry how many sites that you think are reputable, such as microsoft, are really doing sneaky things behind your back.

    The mind boggles how they could single out an individual from the g'zillions of people that use them! Bit like trying to single out a blackbird from a flock ...
