        Did anyone spot that rocket that took off from California the other day, apparently it it appeared as a large blob of light in the night sky for some time.

        I've just this minute discovered this thread! :rolleyespink: I have been watching the ISS fly across the sky from our balcony for years! There are days when I can see it from 10 degrees above the western horizon till it disappears in the east where I can no longer see it from the balcony because it goes over the top of our block of flats.

          Around the spring & autumn equinoxes the view is fantastic! There are times when you can make out the cross configuration as well! Unfortunately it not visible from here this month. :sad:
