Introduction

Hello,
Just thought I'd introduce myself - I'm a teenager who does a lot of gardening/conservation voluntary work in England, and really enjoy it. I've still got a lot to learn, and as such most of my posts will probably be asking questions, but if I can help anyone in anyway I'll certainly try my best

 

acather96 - interesting to hear of your voluntary work very commendable! Keep up the good work. Fire away with your questions, there is a lot of knowledege being shared here in GC - and great to hear that you are willing to pitch in too.

 

Thank you Grannie Annie, I'm part of seven voluntary projects, four of which are horticultural, and this has fostered my enjoyment of gardening at home as well. I'm starting to get the hang of names and things, but you have to start somewhere

 

Gardening is so rewarding but also fun. It's surprising how in time you start to remember the different names. As for starting somewhere you certainly seem to have started on a larger scale than most would do, plus you show an eagerness to learn which is always a good thing.
