IOS. Problem.

So my I Pad tells me that at least two apps. need IOS 17 at least to operate.
My I Pad is IOS 16 and I need to upgrade ,I can’t seem to do it online .
Question ,is it possible to upgrade and how?
In simple language please.

 

Hello Roders, please open the Settings and go to General. click on Software update and choose the option to update. Wait until you get a message. If your iPad is too old for the upgrade, then it will tell you.

 

@roders, if you got your ipad before 2019 (7th gen), it is no longer supported by updates.

Here is a list of ipads that can have the latest update.
