    Hello all

    I hope you are well.

My Iris 'Sibirica' (?) has Seed Pods after Flowering for the first time since they were Planted in September 2019.

Can anyone please tell me what I need to do with them?

Do I leave them on the Plants or remove them?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

I think you leave them, they go orangey red and stay on the plant.

But you can cut them off if you want.

Or you could sow the seeds when ripe for a lot more plants.

    Hello

    Thanks for the Replies.

Sorry for the late Reply, I did not receive any Notification of Replies.

@pete I can always trust you will have the right advice :)

So, the Seeds will be viable, do I just scatter them over loose soil when they are ripe?

    Thanks

    Kevin

I would sow them in MPC rather than scattering them about. They probably would be eaten off otherwise.
