Hi. I've been bought a snazzy little mini greenhouse and I'm looking forward to starting some seeds soon.

We're going away next month, is there any way of keeping seedling trays hydrated while unattended for a few days? needs to be small scale.

    Thanks.

This works for me. The bigger the water receptacle, the longer it lasts.

Yup, capillary matting and a big water container. Will have to get some myself very soon as mines buried in the depths of the garage never to be seen again.

Capillary or drip watering. In most cases especially at this time of year. A good sensible watering, below for seedlings and above and below for established plants, unless temperatures should rise to scorching, once a week good soak is enough.
