I have a neighbour that is a newbie to gardening and this year I persuaded her to plant up a hanging basket. The basket looks fine although the plants don't look as though they are growing much. I asked her what she feeds the hanging basket with and how often. She said she doesn't feed the plants at all as she is worried just in case her dogs come into contact with it and its not pet friendly. Is miracle grow or equivalent pet friendly? If not, can you suggest alternative plant foods that are.

    Blimey.
Just dont feed the dog with it.

I've used it for years along with all manner of plant feeds, but its never bothered any dog I've had.

Lol. I told her that if she's worried, just to water the plants at night when the dogs are in the house.
