Today I have seen 2 separate Wisteria in flower, not just odd flowers but dozens of them!!? This got me thinking and back home in my own garden there are plants out of sync, I have Cowslips that have been flowering for a couple of weeks, Holly flowering now, early season Clematis in flower and although fantastic my Colchicums flowered and went over very quickly this year, back in late August!!!

Has anyone else got confused plants? :)

I have an Aesculus californica with the odd flower stem showing.

And it has lots of buds that look ready to break as if spring.

The dry September made it think it was back home I guess.

I still have a rose in bloom, and my begonias are still going. Also my salvias.
Is that normal for this time of year?

I seem to remember quite a few of these threads about confused plants over the years.

Its problem that seems to occur a few times most years.

Its called living in the UK, with its very odd climate.

I think she's menopausal with all these hot flushes we're getting
To be fair, it is lovely to enjoy some sunnier weather at this time of year with the milder temperature :spinning:
