About ten years ago I planted a bush at the back of my garden. I am pretty sure it was a blackcurrant bush but it has never produced any currants due to it being too shielded from the sun. However, yesterday a neighbour strongly disagreed that this is even a blackcurrant bush at all !!

So, given just the leaves, can anyone tell me if they think it is a blackcurrant (I'm 90% sure it was but now I've had doubt put in my mind).

ps: if it is, c BM-20200713_085031.jpg ould I dig it up and put it somewhere sunnier??

No, that’s definitely not a blackcurrant leaf. Looks more like a mature ivy leaf to me...
