    Hi All,

Can anyone help me ID the below plant please? I've got two of them next two my water feature.

My wife thinks they're some sort of pond plant but I'm not sure. If they are pond plants, are they likely to serve any benefit to the water feature? As I'm tempted to get rid.

    Thanks

They're growing by the water feature but not in the water itself so I don't think they can be described as pond plants ... they are grasses. I've got them in my garden, I think the name is Carex.
