Hi everyone. I've finally managed to fox proof and cat proof the garden with good results but now it looks like a beetle is eating everything in sight! Obviously harder to keep out of the garden than cats! Can anyone tell me if the image attached is likely to be the cause? I snapped it on the Rosemary bush but I think they might be eating my herbs and hydrangeas. They're everywhere! Any info would be appreciated.

It might be a Rosemary Beetle info here Rosemary beetle
It might be attacking your other herbs, but I doubt it's attacking the hydrangeas. A picture of a chewed hydrangea leaf might help identify the culprit.

Many thanks for your reply NigelJ. I visited the RHS site you linked to in your reply and I added the info to their "Rosemary Beetle" survey! Too wet to photograph the damage today but will post a new image asap. Thanks again!
