This is where 5 of us spent our day, in the warden's hut. To be honest I didn't get much (any ) gardening done today.

Pictures can't really show the ferocity of the sea and the incredible noise we had all day. Fortunately we have lost no trees so far, just the odd branch flying off.

Look at the size of the breakers compared with the people on the beach.

I thought the same thing Pal,when I saw those photos.I know it is nice to see big waves like that but they were warning people to keep away from the beaches and other places, and they showed the front of one of the newspapers on the TV this morning of two fathers pushing a pushchair towards some waves  [IMG] It doesn't bare thinking about :(

I can Pal, some people have the intelligence of an amoeba, they just do not understand the power of the sea. You see it again and again in the media, even after fatalities they are still stupid enough to get that close. :(

Brilliant pictures Rich it just shows how dangerous the sea can be! That little old hut looks a little steamy bet you had a nice little cuppa or two in there. :D

You are so right guys some people are complete idiots not only do they put their own lives in danger but the lives of the brave souls who have to rescue them.Hel.xxx.
