What a cheek @HarryS but absolutely spot on. You cannot imagine how disappointing it was when I would eagerly rush to collect my photos that had been developed, back in the day, only to discover they were...terrible, not sure that adjective adequately describes their inadequacies. Once I had 2 large batches developed and they all had a dark area across the top corner of the photos. I was convinced there was something wrong with my camera and moaned to a friend who was fairly photography savvy about my rubbish camera. She let me borrow her smart 1 and to my horror the photos I took on her camera had the same problem. Friend eventually discovered the problem. My long hair was getting in front of the lens . What's that expression about bad workmen and blame!?
