It's probably too late now. What do we reckon? I have a sheltered warm spot that gets all the sun, but we're half way through August.

Will the seeds still be viable next spring?

Yep, assuming you survive the arctic winter. Make some moccassins and gather reindeer moss :)

If the packet has been opened, it is doubtful.

When i used to grow marrows, yes Marrows, before people started poncing around with foreign stuff like courgettes.
I usually found the seed lost viability fairly fast, so always bought new each year.

Can't understand why anyone would want to eat a tender courgette when faced with a watery monster like a marrow :heehee:

Marrows are only watery if you pick them too soon, courgettes are mostly pith.

Should add, I cant stand either.

I'm sure its got other things in it, just to give it some flavour.

The packet has not been opened. It vanished shortly after purchase and only turned up yesterday.
