Solved Japanese maple... any idea which one this might be?

    My tree has been here for at least 25 years, if not longer! it's about 25-30 feet tall. Lovely green leaves with small pink seeds. The leaves about are just over an inch across. Would.love to know the name of it.

    That is a beautiful tree.

    I would say that it is Acer palmatum.....common name commonly known as palmate maple, Japanese maple or smooth Japanese-maple
