It certainly looks like a particular form of a '"weed" :)

The leaves can be therapeutic but the buds (when dried) are the most... err... medicinal.

It needs as much sun as possible if you would like to see the marvellous blooms..... as well as seeing other things if it ever happened to accidentally catch fire/ go up in smoke

Hemp seed is sterilized with a heat treatment so it won't grow, both for bird food and fishing bait use, this (if it is Mary Juna) is likely to have come from a more fertile source.

It must have only grown in the last few weeks as its quite small. We only moved in 3 weeks ago. Maybe a rogue seed?? Or from a nearby farmers field. Surely the old folk living here weren't growing it?!?

A distant passed relative used to grow it for "pain relief" and he was in his '70's

Hi Cinnamon, Well, we do have a automatic censor system where most swear words, offensive words are caught in the net and another less offensive word is substituted. But we do not "swallow" posts because of it. I've found the English language to be such a great, definitive and flexible language that swear words aren't needed.......but maybe that's just me:doh:. Offensive language is a different matter and is usually used in disputes or clashes...........and Admin will step in then and take what we think is neutral, fair, and positive action.
Any spam is usually spotted by members and reported if Admin don't get there first. Trolls are banned immediately they make themselves obvious. Admin, as I've said previously, try not to be visible and rarely step into a thread, and when we do so it's with great reluctance.:dunno::coffee::snorky:

Some people think that some of my words are swear words  :noidea:. It's just that they come from a time (in my younger days :old: :heehee:) when we used those words.

As I'm a bibliophile I tend to use words that are fugacious but try not to make them amphibological and I definitely do not suffer from coprolalia although some people do think that is the case.

THC is the component which has medicinal qualities and there are two different groups Sativa strains are more for the body-chronic pain, aches, arthritis . Indica strains are more for the mind - stress, insomnia etc. There are many plants that have been crossed so that they are a 50/50 mix to attend to the whole - mind and body. There are some that only have 5% THC and are gentle sleep aids. There are some that have up to 21.5% which attack more severe problems. All are non addictive and that is why one can get a prescription for the buds over here.

I am speaking about medical marijuana not back yard - however any plant that flowers is likely to have some traces of THC. :)

Any thoughts on cbd oil? We had a pot the other day, found it quietened the senses. I quit smoking it after a decade to see if it will help with my depression. Tastes like poo though and wouldn't recommend for the price. I have a feeling your cbd oil is much more potent out in Canada Lori?
