July 2006 Photo Competition VOTES

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Please vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points, 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the highest points wins. NO VOTES FOR 2 1ST PLACES ETC

    3. Votes should be cast within three days after this thread starting. (cut off 23:59 on 4/8/06)

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.



    The Winner of the competition chooses the theme for the next competition, which I will start when the voting finishes. So put your thinking caps on incase you are the winner ;)

    Hornbeam - Poppies by the raiway - just love the colours and the composition of the photo is very good too!

    Suedobie - Busy Bee - love the colours again

    Frogesque - Living on the edge - again its the colours that got me but I love the simplicity of this pic

    It gets harder and harder to vote, as everything is so good. I decided to go with ones that fitted the title best, not just the best photos, so here it is...

    1) - Hornbeam's Rosebay Willowherb - a real insight into a pain of a weed!!
    2) - Juliet's Fire and Brimstone - stunning!

    3) - Strongy's Great Green Bush Cricket - what a picture, and what a rotten joke!

    Really impressed with this month's entries and in particular with those from some of the newcomers to GC.

    1st Juliet's Fire and Brimstone - classic simplicity in a Japanese style with a clever title. This is the outstanding shot for me.

    2nd Lisa's Buzz Off - such an angry bee and so close

    3rd Strongie's Bush Cricket - well observed, well lit and so sharp
