JUNE PHOTO COMP RESULTS

Thank you @wiseowl and everyone that cast their vote for my village church. Congratulations to David and Zigs, two quite different water scenes.

I'll get my thinking cap on Woo for Augusts theme.

 

Many thanks to those who voted for my 'Ducks at Dusk' entry. As a newcomer to the forum, I'm very grateful & encouraged.
Congratulations to Sheal for her excellent (joint winner) 'Village Church' and other excellent entries of such a high standard.

@David K my apologies! I'm not thinking straight at the moment. @wiseowl will probably agree that as joint winners the decision for Augusts theme should also be a joint decision between us, but as I chose the title for this competition I'd like you to make the choice for August please.

 

@David K we usually PM Wiseowl with our choice of theme as it usually remains under wraps until he is ready with the new thread.

If agreeable to both you and Sheal, given the fact that @Sheal is an established member and I'm a newcomer, I would be more than happy for Sheal to choose the August theme.....in fact it would be my preference.

I'm very flattered to have achieved joint first place.

@wiseowl and @David K, we're all to polite for our own good! I'm going to put the ball back in your court David for one very good reason, with ESP working I was thinking of exactly the same theme for the August competition. So I think your choice should stand if Woo (aka wiseowl) agrees.

I was just thinking myself, just how really spiffing we are In view of what you say, Sheal, it seems a good compromise.....I'll let the wise one know.
Although, if my inadvertent letting the cat out of the bag had complicated matters, I would have been happy to consider an alternative.
