    Glad you are OK.
I'm not posting as much, in the summer I need to get on, not talk about it :)

Unfortunately, I've been having a lot of problems with my feet @Scroggin. Mainly due to a new pair of walking shoes which have knackered my left heel. Can't put weight on it properly, although it wears off after a while, before returning again later. It's prevented me walking daily too, although fine for footering in the garden, but there's been an improvement, so fingers crossed I might get out. Glad you got some hills in - would have been a shame to miss the weather we've had. The hills here will be heaving a sigh of relief that there's been rain - the wildfires have been horrific, with serious damage. Arran looks like a moonscape.
I've also had some ongoing car problems, but all is fixed now. Always something eh?
Thank you @Meomye . As you'll see, injury has prevented me getting out, but I'm trying to be positive about it all. If I could sleep properly that would help!

Hope everyone is getting some good work done outdoors though. Hard to believe we're at the end of May already. Many thanks to everyone for their good wishes.

Sorry to hear about your foot problems @fairygirl , not good for anyone but especially for a keen walker like yourself. I've had plantar fasciitis in the past so can sympathise when it comes to being laid up with foot issues.
It was very dry, too dry, in Cumbria, obviously great for getting on the high fells but glad they're getting some rain at last. Here's a picture of High Cup Nick, a lovely feature of the Pennine Way IMG_20250518_104846.jpg IMG_20250518_113200.jpg

          Those are stunning views @Scroggin.

Glad to see you posting again @fairygirl but sorry to hear of your foot problems and car problems, as you say, there always seem to be something in the offing.

Lovely pix @Scroggin - glad you're getting some walks.
I might PM you re the plantar fasciitis, because I think that's possibly what I have...
