    Hi, could someone please put a name to these. Obviously I sowed them but as usual the label has mysteriously disappeared....do they grow legs!!:dunno:

        Hmmmm.....I did experiment with sowing some seeds from a shop bought red pepper a while back, how exciting! Thanks @Marley Farley , I'll keep you posted:blue thumb:

            Still not sure but they were potted on into individual pots ....maybe a pepper. ( albeit miniature ones.:heehee:)

            We won't hold our breath to sample them in a meal!:roflol:

                Who knows :noidea:...I like surprises, so I will be patient.
                I am actually growing some Chinese Lanterns for next year....if I don't kill them off this winter that is, so far they don't resemble them.

                        Definitely doesn't look like Chinese lanterns to me. We have a 24ft long bed of them and most of them have already grown and ripened in the hot dry weather we have had (Mrs Shiney uses them in flower arranging).

                        Peppers look more likely but I'd be careful about trying them, if they are chillies, and when they're ripe, as some of that shape can be mild and sweet whereas other can be HOT! It's still a wait and see game. :)

                          Odds are on Peppers I think, as I said I did experiment with chucking some seeds from a shop bought red pepper on to a tray of compost earlier in the year. Whatever they are they are slow growing!!!
