    Just on the edge of town is a place where Adders can be found quite easily but only when warm enough, as was today, and the males were fighting over a female, I didn't see her.
    Two out of the three were a metre long!:smile:

      Two Adders were out this morning but inactive due to the cooler temperature, the (brown) female had just sloughed her skin which was next to her.

                      Went to Rottnest Island off of Perth yesterday and there were plenty of Quokkas around. They look like a cross between a rat and a Wallaby and are endemic to the island and nowhere else. 20190529_144124.jpg

                        We saw just this one Koala in the wild south of Sydney.

                          Just one Red Squirrel at Browsea today as I didn't go round the island, just to the lagoon to see the Terns.

                            I saw a Pine Marten in the garden at dusk a couple of days ago. No picture, as it disappeared to quickly for me to grab my camera. I knew they were in this area but it's the first one I've seen.
